This is the tonic water for a true gin lover. The tonic is made by hand using only natural, raw quinine, this as opposed to the more commonly found, and often chemically extracted quinine, found in commercial 'clear' tonic waters. It is softer in the glass and is without that over-powering and bitter-sweet cloying affect you would associate with commercial tonics.
Where it all started for Bermondsey Mixer Co. Raw, natural quinine (from Peruvian Cinchona bark) gives our tonic its distinctive amber hue and unlike commercial tonic waters, we don’t use solvent quinine extract. As a result Bermondsey Tonic Water is a lot more balanced and fresh with a clean, natural finish. Try it with your favourite London Dry and please chill before serving.
