Intensely smoky with hints of apple and burnt treacle, beguilingly smooth after a punchy nose. The finish unashamedly reminds you of this rum's fiery origin.
Burning Barn is based on a fruit farm. For our smoked rum we take apple wood from retired apple trees, chip and dry it before using it to cold smoke a fruity, treacly 3-year aged Demerara rum. The result is an award-winning sipping rum.
About the Producer
In September 2015 our barn burnt down. Forged from the fire and smoke of that day comes Burning Barn Rum. Our flavours are inspired by this fiery origin - spiced rum with real heat in it and a smoked rum redolent of smouldering embers and burnt caramel. We use the finest dark rum from Guyana, West Indies, as a base for our delicious rums.

Prep & usage
Designed to be a sipping rum, our smoked rum is delicious on it's own. Or try it in an Old Fashioned with a twist of grapefruit peel.
