Alpha Estate is located in Amyndeo, North West Greece. It is the brainchild of two visionaries, second generation vine grower Makis Mavridis and Bordeaux trained wine maker Angelos Iatrides.
This is a wonderful example of Xinomavro, with its complex bouquet of violet, small berried red fruits, leather and pepper, clove and vanilla spice. Structured, with rounded tannins and a balancing acidity.
