The cheese presents with a soft yellow colour, medium to strong flavour and aroma with gentle bitter notes of saffron. Gluten free cheese.

Quesos Hontanar are producers of artisan cheeses using ancient traditional shepherd methods, sourcing their sheep and goat milk from the exceptional grazing pastures that surround them in Aguilar del Alfambra. The flavoured cheeses are representative of Teruel, being saffron, rosemary, mushroom and black truffle and are gluten free.
