This Darjeeling loose leaf is sourced from the famous Gielle Tea Gardens in West Bengal. Gielle means ‘land of sweet water’ in the local Lepcha language and is home to some of India’s finest teas. The cool Himalayan breezes create an ideal tea-growing climate. Darjeeling tea has been awarded a Protected Geographical Indication, assuring that tea grown here really is the best of the best.

Brew a cup and you’ll enjoy a light-coloured infusion that’s floral in character. It is a touch less bitter than most black teas, so is just perfect paired with cake mid-morning. It is traditionally drunk on its own, but try with a little milk if you prefer.
