A gorgeous melomel mead fermented off-dry with Irish blackcurrants beautifully balanced with sweet dark cherries tempered over the pure honey matured for 2 years to a silky smooth finish, 12% ABV. A lush, enticing drink. Low in sulfites to preserve freshness and naturally gluten free. Great with rich tomato sauces on pizza and pasta, sticky barbecue ribs or dark chocolate.

Kinsale Mead Co is family run business, founded by us, Kate and Denis Dempsey in 2016 to rediscover the art of mead making. We produce a range of multi award-winning, world-class meads in our state-of-the-art meadery on the Atlantic coast in County Cork at the start of the stunning Wild Atlantic Way.
