'Greek Gods' Ambrosia Chocolate Bar by Eat it Like 35g - Milk Chocolate Bar with Honey

Ambrosia is the food of the Heavens. It is what the gods and goddesses feasted upon in Ancient Greece.

However, it is so much more than just a tasty indulgence. According to Greek mythology, Ambrosia was responsible for granting the gods and goddesses immortality. Records show it tasted slightly like honey - although some ancient writers speculate that it is actually eight or nine times sweeter.

One, often overlooked, aspect of ambrosia was that once you started to consume it, you couldn’t stop. The gods and goddesses loved eating it so much, the supply of it often couldn’t be replenished fast enough.

So, savour every bite. Who knows when you’ll get a chance to taste the heavens again.

We are Sophie, Kaya and Marion - the three brains and hearts behind Eat it Like. We are three sisters, and like many siblings, we couldn’t be more different from one another. Both in our skillsets, our personalities and perhaps even more importantly — in our taste for chocolate!

About two years ago, the three of us were at home debating about culture and taste (as one does..) when we started to wonder what it would be like to experience taste through someone else’s palate. We asked ourselves, what if we could draw inspiration from culture - merging our passions for chocolate and travel - to create unique chocolate experiences? We set ourselves the goal of crafting a yummy, bean-to-bar chocolate with healthy ingredients, ethically traded beans and a sustainable mindset.
