The French Comté brings together a selection of premium French cheeses. This is the best way to become a cheese lover. Inside this box, you will find 4 popular cheeses.

This selection includes:

  • Mothais 150g: The Mothais on Leaf with Île de Ré salt. Our Mothais sur feuille is a raw milk goat cheese that takes its name from Mothe-Saint-Héray. The chestnut leaf which surrounds it participates in the development of its aromas. It absorbs moisture from the cheese and gives it a softer, creamier paste and a thinner rind.

  • Saint Marcelin 80g:
    A classic small medallion-shaped cheese with scattered white and–after several weeks maturation–blue bloomy moulds. The pate is slightly firmer and less lactic when young, becoming more oozing and melting with ripening. A lovely gentle round tasting cheese, with marked tangy/fruity notes, especially well-paired with a southern Rhone wine.

  • Comté 4 Month Aged 200g:
    Traditional AOP Comté cheese made in Jura plain that has been matured for 4 months. This Comté is matured in a temperate cellar where it matured for around 4 months. Soft and not very fruity paste giving off sweeter aromas.

  • Flocon de Savoie 120g:
    It is a small, white, round cheese that is part of the soft cheese family. It has a very fine floral rind that is slightly fuzzy and a soft center, with a delicate taste combined with a slightly lactic flavour.
