The French Comté brings to you a large selection of premium cheeses. This is the best way to become a cheese lover. Inside this box, you will find 5 of our most popular cheeses.
This set includes:
- Comté 18 Month Aged 250g: Comte that has been matured for 18 to 24 months is sweet with a nutty flavour. Its balance makes it the favourite of most cheese lovers. Comte is a cheese of concentrated flavour, with brown-butter and roasted-nut aromas and a sweet finish. Jura wines from Comte’s home region, and are a classic pairing for this unique cheese. This Comte has won more medals than any other any Comte at the Prestigious 'Concours General Agricole' in Paris, but also a Super Gold medal at the world cheese awards!
-
Tomme with Truffles 250g: The Tomme Jurassienne with truffle is a special occasion cheese. Misplaced truffle bits give this cheese a particularly exciting taste. It is deliciously creamy and smooth. The pasteurised cow milk taste will go down perfectly with a glass of red burgundy. -
Camembert Bertrand 250g: From raw milk, it is molded with a ladle manually so as not to break the curd, which promotes slow draining for better taste development. Concentrated in flavours, it is slightly salty, combined with the sweetness and good taste of milk -
Mimolette 250g: Wonderful cheese coming straight from Lorraine. This hard orange cheese has a bitter sweet taste that will leave you speechless. It’s bright orange aspect will fire up up any cheese platter you want to put together. -
2 x Crottin 80g: Le Crottin Traiteur goat's cheese, refined with unpasteurised milk, is a good alternative to Chavignol's crottin from which it has borrowed the know-how. This crottin has a fine white crust, a firm paste that becomes brittle when it is more refined.
