Our Story

Founded by London-based former lawyer and now passionate foodie, Trusha Patel, Spice Sanctuary is an award-winning international company dedicated to offering premium quality certified organic single spices, specialty spices and multi-purpose seasonings and spice blends.

Backed by clear provenance, our award winning certified organic spices are ethically sourced directly from single estate farms and co-ops, all selected for premium grades and hand harvested. In addition, being minimally processed to protect their essential and volatile oils, enables us to offer the highest quality, freshest spice selection. Our cooking ingredients are ripe for the needs of the gourmet foodie, clean eating enthusiast and avid home cook. From Ayurvedic inspired blends like our Golden Milk/Turmeric Latte to a selection of smoked products like Smoked Cumin or Smoked Malabar Black Pepper and globally inspired blends, we are at the forefront of a rising trend and demand in the UK for new world, old world and smoked flavours, redefining the ease with which one can experience an array of delicious flavours and culinary creations!

Originally started in Canada from the realisation that not all spices are created equal, Trusha's quest to offer access to spices of true distinction delivered through clean organic ingredients with clear provenance and a sustainable approach has culminated in 6 Great Taste Awards in the past two years, a superb testament to their superior freshness, quality and taste. Spice Sanctuary is just as passionate about the environment as it is about the quality of its products. We champion our own tree planting program supported by profits from sales and package our products in recyclable materials.
