We are farmers, butchers and distributors specialising in grass fed Sussex beef and Free range pork products.

Our Story

The Marvellous Meat Co delivers delicious grass fed Sussex Beef and Local Free Range Pork directly to customers across the UK.

We farm in Sussex and adhere to the strictest welfare and environmental standards which we also insist upon from the other farmers we work with to ensure a consistent, superior product.

We are a family business which takes great pride in the quality of the product we send to our consumers; freshly butchered, having been dry hung for a minimum of 28 days, and delivered within 24 hours.

"Going back to better" is our motto. Cattle only eating grass means they grow slower, but in this case patience really is a virtue as the tenderness and flavour of this meat is significantly better than most beef available in shops and supermarkets today.

And we are also passionate about the Sussex breed. Smaller and less commercial than the huge continental breeds so loved by the mass retail trade, the Sussex is a truly special breed of beef animal, thriving on a grass only diet, very docile, with excellent maternal instincts and ultimately producing delicious beef.

We are combining the best of the old fashioned ways with the advances in delivery technology meaning we can offer a 5 days a week, next day delivery service to all our customers.
