Welcome to Mamma Flora's family! We want to bring the great Italian taste to the British market and beyond. We proudly treat food with the utmost respect. We believe in delicious food with no need for chemicals. Everything is natural! Our journey started with delicious pasta sauces and we are now sourcing new incredible products. We work with small scale Italian farmers who share our values of honesty and respect for nature.

Our Story

Founded by Maria Apicella in 2017, Mamma Flora was launched with the aim to bring the great Italian taste to the UK market. After years in a corporate job and a backpacking adventure across India, Maria realized that we need to do what we like most in life, and what makes us happy. For her, the answer was always there: food.

Growing up in southern Italy on the Amalfi Coast, Maria enjoyed the freshest, most delicious cuisine prepared by her mum, Flora, who was known by locals, friends and family as ‘Mamma Flora’. That is why our business is named Mamma Flora, and our food aims to embody the values that Maria grew up with.

Our range of products include all natural pasta sauces and pesto, as well as ‘good gluten’, and gluten-free pastas. Our 100 per cent all natural sauces and pestos come from the Amalfi Coast, handcrafted by our local farmer using only the freshest ingredients. No colourants, no preservatives, just pure delicious goodness. Our ‘good gluten’ and gluten-free pastas are produced in Gragnano, the famous city of pasta.
