Black River Chocolate

Founded in 2013, Black River Chocolate is made from fine flavour exotic Trinitario Cocoa beans from Jamaica, Venezuela, Peru, Ecuador and Madagascar.

Our Story

Black River Chocolate was set up to recreate our founder's childhood memory of having hot chocolate made from freshly roasted cocoa beans.

We source our cocoa directly from smallholding farmers and local cooperatives and we liaise directly to ensure that child labour is not used and that good farm practices are observed. Our chocolates are enjoyed by sophisticated, mature palettes. Equally, by unrepentant chocoholics.

You can also find us at the Crown Plaza Geneva and our chocolates were used to create the dessert for Diplomatic Corp Gala dinner in Switzerland.
